Film Photography

Since a very young age I have loved photography. When I was around 11 I developed my love for analogue methods of creation. This inspired me to use a 35mm camera to take photographs.

I use a 1979 Pentax ME Super for all of my films at the moment as this is a very reliable and diverse camera to use. I adore analogue photography due to its authenticity and ability to capture the subtlest of details. It can make even the most mundane of objects appear to be beautiful.

Between 2014 and 2019 I was using a Voigtländer Bessamatic from the 1960s which was a great piece of kit in terms of build quality but lacked on image brilliance and performed poorly in low light conditions. I had my heart set on a Pentax for many years before I acquired one. It took a while to get a solid understanding of but it was definitely worth it.

Outside of these two I also use a Rollei 35 LED which I am currently restoring and a Polaroid OneStep 2 which is only used on special occasions (due to the price of film…)
